According to the latest report that has surfaced online, Xiaomi invites some users to participate in internal testing of the new Xiao AI model update on Xiaomi Sound and Sound Pro.

For those who don’t know, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Sound Pro smart speaker in December 2022. This smart speaker was known for its transparent top case, accompanied by lighting that changes to the rhythm of the music. A recent report by ITHome claims that an enhanced version of Xiao AI has completed development and is undergoing testing.

The company is inviting a limited number of people to test this new voice assistant internally. Also, this report confirms that Xiaomi Sound and Xiaomi Sound Pro devices were used for this test. The company plans to eliminate bugs with this invitation so that they can proactively fix it. It is very likely that future Xiaomi speakers will have this Xiao AI.

In addition, the new voice assistant is expected to come with new features such as updated dialogs, active answers to questions, better suggestions based on your preferences, and learning assistant.
