NASA astronauts Steven Bowen and Woody Hoburg, UAE (United Arab Emirates) astronaut Sultan Alneyadi and cosmonaut Andriy Fedyaev have landed on SpaceX’s Dragon Endeavor spacecraft in the Atlantic Ocean. It landed on the shores of Jacksonville, Florida at 12:17 ET after a 186-day mission in space.

The crew, including the two speedboats aboard SpaceX’s recovery vehicle, are currently working to secure Dragon and the recovery spacecraft. Once the speedboat crew has completed their work, the rescue craft will be positioned to lift the Dragon onto the main deck where the astronauts are inside. Upon reaching the main deck, the crew will disembark from the spacecraft and undergo a medical examination before boarding a helicopter to Houston.

NASA’s SpaceX Crew-6 began their return to Earth Sunday morning as they boarded the SpaceX Dragon for takeoff from the International Space Station. Shortly thereafter, at 7:05 a.m. ET, they left the forward port of the International Space Station’s Harmony module to complete their six-month science mission.

NASA’s SpaceX Crew-6 mission launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on March 2, 2023, and docked with the space station the next day.
