For this money, Sony has to offer a top-of-the-line device given the competition in the market. Most specs are competitive, although we do question the modest camera selection. A good main camera is accompanied by a wide-angle camera that is outdated on paper. Sony makes up for this by equipping the main camera with a dual lens, giving you a choice of focal lengths of 16mm, 24mm and 48mm (similar to 2X). The same sensor is always behind it, so that the quality of the photos remains theoretically identical.
The smartphone comes with a battery that, according to Sony, lasts a whole day. Proprietary technology is reportedly making the phone consume less battery power. Unfortunately, fast charging doesn’t seem to be included. In terms of design, Sony relies on a minimalist look with a small camera island.
