Apple’s A17 Pro processor, which powers the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, is almost as good as portable gaming consoles like the Steam Deck, ROG Ally, and more. The CPU features a six-core architecture and a 20 percent faster GPU for improved overall performance and power consumption.
Apple has also introduced hardware acceleration of ray tracing on the SoC, which is claimed to run all games at higher frame rates compared to software ray tracing.
