Ukrainian Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov was one of the first to announce this development. According to him, the platform, whose core is artificial intelligence, can monitor and analyze events and detect manipulations in the information field.
How does Mantis Analytics work?
Mantis Analytics natively uses machine learning, NLP, and LLM models to analyze large amounts of unstructured data quickly and efficiently.
Mantis processes thousands of messages and gigabytes of data from mass media, social networks and information platforms in real time. It then organizes everything on an interactive map. Data helps combat disinformation and hostile propaganda more effectively. After all, everyone can see how Russians spread fraud and exchange information.
– writes Fedorov.
According to the project’s official website, the company “provides governments, organizations, and individuals with artificial intelligence technologies to detect, protect, and counter information warfare.” Here are some features of the new program:
- Real-time detection and countermeasures of coordinated information attacks and narrative campaigns.
- Detailed automatic analysis of news and posts.
- Interactive dashboards with special tools for research analysis of the information space.
- Intelligent generalization with artificial intelligence. Thousands of news and publications are presented in a few sentences.
- Automatic detection of misinformation tagging. Indications of certain manipulative technologies aimed at weakening the cognitive security of the target audience, such as propaganda, fake news and other methods of influence.
- Collecting and storing data from social networks, messaging programs, television, radio and media.
- The company also talks about “predicting the future,” but it’s unclear what that means. Presumably, artificial intelligence is trying to predict how this or that disinformation campaign will develop based on the collected data, so that the user is ready for it and can take precautions in advance.

The developer team, consisting entirely of Ukrainians, tested its development in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war, writing that it “helps state and power structures solve life and death problems.”
