We do not carry months of waiting for Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2 to arriveCD Projekt RED’s long-awaited update to the game, which continued to improve and improve after a massively disappointing launch, until today it has become a highly polished and immensely enjoyable experience, as we’ve already begun to clearly appreciate with the game. the arrival of the 1.5 update, which marked a farewell to the title from the previous generation of consoles, freeing it from all the burdens with which it arrived on the market.

Since, as we have already told you, Cyberpunk 2077 adds the latest graphics technology, such as DLSS 3.5 AI path tracing and beam reconstruction, the result of which we already saw promising progress a few weeks ago. Admittedly, due to myriad launch issues and CDPR’s reorganization of priorities, we were left without the multiplayer mode that the company had announced before launch. At the other extreme, however, we find a level of technical excellence that promises to get even better with the arrival of Update 2.

Although it was originally expected to be released at the same time as Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, the only DLC the game will receive (unless the studio changes its mind, of course), a few weeks ago the studio clarified that Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2 will arrive before the DLCand he recently told us what we will find in each of the two editions, so it was enough for us to know the release date of the update, since the DLC is already known for months, September 26.

As the launch of Phantom Liberty approached, doubts about the date of the update grew to the point that there were even those who dared that it would finally arrive together. It won’t be like that and finally CD Projekt RED has announced that Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2 will be released on September 21ston Thursday of next week, and has released a video that will no doubt have us counting down the hours until the update is released.

Now, it’s not all good news regarding this launch, although it was somewhat predictable from what we’ve seen so far. total, Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2 will increase the necessary requirements to be able to play it under good conditions. This is bad in the sense that some teams that have been a bit above the limit up until now may have fallen short of what is necessary.
