Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy S23 FE

The Galaxy S23 FE will be a scaled-down version in features, benefits and price of Samsung’s flagship mobile phone, the S23. Everything points to an imminent launch and the latest we received were the color finishes you see in the images and confirmation of its main specifications.

Samsung, like other mobile phone manufacturers, usually launches its flagship at the beginning of the year and its variant in the last quarter to boost the catalog and in time for the important Christmas campaign. The South Korean giant frames it in the ‘Fan Edition’ series and we expect that sometime in 2022, Samsung decided not to launch this FE version in 2022.

Expected Galaxy S23 FE specs

Although we are talking about a “reduced” version, this type of terminal is part of a high range and offers very good features, starting with its AMOLED screen 6.4 inches, with a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and SoC engines with good performance. The latest information confirms what we told you, with two chipsets depending on the region where it is sold, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Samsung’s own Exynos 2200.

They will be complemented by 6 or 8 GB of RAM and internal storage with a capacity of 128 GB or 256 GB. Your camera system will also be at a good level, with a main triple sensor that will consist of a 50MP wide-angle sensor, a 12MP telephoto lens and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. The front camera will be 10 megapixels.

A 4500MHz battery with 25W fast charging is expected, the operating system will be Android 13 with One UI interface and increased support, for which Samsung promises four years of system updates and five years of security. Samsung saves on materials and finishes with a polycarbonate chassis that replaces the glass of the standard S23.

The Galaxy S23 FE will be distributed in four colors, black, cream, green and purple. There is talk of a launch late September or early November.
