Following users’ complaints that the new iPhone 15 was getting too hot, Apple said the device may feel warmer in the first few days “after setting up or restoring the device due to increased background activity.”
“Another issue involves some recent updates to third-party apps that cause system overload,” Apple said, adding that it was working with app developers to fix the flaws.
Third-party apps causing the issue include Asphalt 9, Instagram by Meta, and Uber.
Instagram had already fixed the issue with its app on September 27.
It is stated that the upcoming update to the iOS 17 operating system, especially to solve the temperature problem of new iPhones, will not reduce their performance.
As reported by Ukrinform, Apple will update its iPhone 12 in France due to concerns about excessive electromagnetic radiation.
