You may recall that when I checked the titles added to GeForce Now last week, I wondered if we were facing a record for the number of games coming to the service in a single week, because At that time, no less than 26 news items were announced. I wasn’t, as I mentioned, in a position to state categorically, as I logically don’t remember the full history of the service, but I still feel it was a record. A record that doesn’t last long.
Seven days to be exact, and just seven days later, we find an even larger number, no less than 29, so high that, according to forecasts, it will make up practically half of all additions to the catalog this October, which will be 60 games. Let’s recall, to put this into perspective, that when the service originally launched in 2015, as something exclusive to NVIDIA devices, it had a total of 50 compatible games.
In this regard, we have witnessed this in recent weeks great strides in integrating Microsoft Store games as well as Xbox Game Pass games, following an agreement signed between Microsoft and NVIDIA a few months ago. And while the deployment is obviously progressive, both companies have already confirmed their intention that 100% of Microsoft’s catalog of stores and services will eventually be available on GeForce Now, an ambitious and very promising bet.
Let’s remember that GeForce Now offers you a cloud platform so you can play games you’ve purchased from major digital stores. That way, they’ll always be yours to own (except in the case of Xbox Game Pass, of course), and thanks to NVIDIA’s service, you’ll be able to enjoy them whenever you want on many types of compatible devices. (from televisions to smartphones, portable consoles, etc.), since all the computing tasks, which, as you already know in many titles, are the most demanding, are taken over by the platform, so all you need is a fast connection.
Well, let’s move on to this week’s releases, which, as I already told you, there are no less than 29, 21 from the date of their release:
