According to a recent statement by people in the industry, Xiaomi is making major changes to the Android-based user interface system, marking the end of an era with MIUI 14. This version is billed as a “great graduation project” for MIUI, offering a top-notch user experience with only delayed animation effects. The big news is that there will be no successor to MIUI 15. Instead, Xiaomi is preparing to introduce an entirely new user interface system, said to be called MiOS. Adding to the intrigue, Xiaomi registered the domain name “mios.cn” with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in November 2022.
