Fedorov emphasized that the Ministry of Statistics and Ukrainian providers are preparing for possible power outages. At the same time, this does not mean that the lights will be turned off here and now.

What should be done

First you need to contact your provider and find out if they switch to energy-efficient networks. In addition, it is worth finding out how long the provider can provide Internet to users. Fedorov emphasized that PON is the most modern technology. It allows you to be online for approximately 3 days. According to Fedorov, 2.7 million Ukrainians currently use the services of such providers.

• Step 2 – If the provider’s answer is not satisfactory, you need to find another answer. The closest Condition is that it must provide PON services.
• Step 3 – apply for connection. You can do this yourself or cooperate with your neighbors.
• Step 4 – Buy a power bank for your WI-FI router.
