It looks like companies Samsung and Huawei will release much cheaper foldable smartphones. According to insider Revegnus, Huawei plans to launch a budget (presumably) version of its P Pocket clamshell model for around $735 or less. Such a device could be released in the first half of next year.

Let us remind you that Huawei currently has a Pocket S model with a price starting from $ 825, which is lower than many of its competitors. But at the same time, there are already significantly cheaper Motorola and Tecno models on the market.

The insider also adds that Samsung plans to work in the same direction. There have been rumors of a cheap Galaxy Flip for a long time, but the Korean giant has not yet released such a device. But Samsung previously did not have much competition in the market of complex smartphones, but everything has changed a lot in the last year.

Insider Revegnus was the first to publish the pre-release photo of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and also revealed the Exynos 2400 specifications, which were later confirmed on Geekbench.
