Approximately 70 percent of Gaza’s population has been displaced and half of its houses completely or partially destroyed explosions, after more than two weeks of war between Israel and the Islamist group Hamas, the Gaza Strip government press service said.
This involves internal movement at a minimum 1.4 million people among Gaza’s 2.3 million residents.
About half of them were placed in 217 shelters, the rest were accommodation in the homes of relatives, friends or acquaintancesadded a spokesman for the Hamas-controlled Strip Executive.
Since the war began, 4,651 Palestinians killed in Gaza due to the indiscriminate bombing of Israel, including 1,873 children, 1,023 women and 187 elderly people; and another 14,245 people were injured, according to the latest data from the sector’s Ministry of Health.
Except, 31 mosques destroyed and three churches damagedafter the intensification of aerial bombardment of the enclave over the past three days, the same source condemned Israel, accusing Israel of “lack of red lines.”

According to the data, about 164 thousand houses “were partially or completely damaged” and 5,635 residential buildings were “completely demolished”. Some 67 government buildings and dozens of public facilities and services that make up the site’s fragile civilian infrastructure were also destroyed or severely damaged.
Added to this are 176 schools “sustained damage, 30 of which were rendered inoperable” as a result of the attacks.

In recent days, the Israeli army has attacked more than 15 “vital areas with civilian presence”among them were those who “stood in line,” where there were “dozens of dead and hundreds of wounded,” explained Gaza government spokesman Salama Maarouf.
On the other hand, an Israeli army spokesman said the army is focused on accelerating the pace of attacks “on dozens of terrorist targets” and high-ranking Palestinian militias.
