Tinder now allows users’ family members to recommend potential partners on the dating app, even if they’re not registered.

This was reported by Sky News, Ukrinform reported.

The new Matchmaker feature allows users to share their Tinder with up to 15 people within 24 hours. These people can view profiles and suggest potential matches even without having a Tinder account. However, they cannot send messages to potential partners on behalf of the user.

After completing the Matchmaker session, Tinder users have the opportunity to view profiles recommended by others and then make a final decision.

The dating app says the feature is based on normal usage of the platform, where Tinder users hand their phone to a friend to find a match and deposit it directly into the platform.

“For years, single people have asked their friends to help them find their next match on Tinder, and now we’re making it super easy with Tinder Matchmaker,” said Melissa Hobley, Tinder’s chief marketing officer.

The feature will initially be available in 15 countries, including the UK, US and Australia, and will roll out globally in a few months.

As reported by Ukrinform, online dating service Tinder has launched a premium subscription for the most active users that will cost $499 per month.
