Microsoft rolled out a major Windows 11 23H2 feature update, also known as Moment 4, at the end of September 2023, but its rollout has been slow and gradual. And now all users can install the biggest Windows 11 update in the entire existence of this operating system.
Windows 11 Moment 4 comes with an optional, non-security, scheduled update. The update is now installed manually if desired, but will become mandatory after a while. This will happen in November 2023, along with the release of the traditional monthly Patch Tuesday.
Update KB5031455 (build 22621.2506) is distributed through Windows Update (Windows Update). After installation, a redesigned “Explorer”, support for more archive formats, improvements to the taskbar, Windows Backup, Copilot assistant and many other changes will be available. Source
