“To say nothing is to be complicit”

Thousands of people demonstrated in central Paris calling for a ceasefire, holding signs reading “Stop the cycle of violence” and “Do nothing, say nothing, is complicity.”

It was one of the first large rallies in support of Palestinians allowed by law in Paris.

Berlin

In Berlin, protesters waved Palestinian flags to demand a ceasefire. The woman walked with her hand raised, covered in fake blood.

Türkiye

Hundreds of protesters gathered in Istanbul and Ankara a day before US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s visit to Turkey for talks on the Gaza Strip.

Turkey, which has sharply criticized Israel and Western countries as the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip worsens, supports a two-state solution and hosts Hamas members.
