Three minors and their grandmother were killed when an Israeli aircraft hit a civilian car.
The attack took place on Sunday afternoon in southern Lebanon, between the towns of Blida and Aainata, near the border with Israel.
The minors’ mother, Hoda Abdel Nabi Heyazi, who was driving the car, was injured, the official Lebanese news agency NNA reported.
The car received a direct hit and caught fire.
An Israeli drone was reported to have attacked two vehicles. The journalist went first Samir Abdel Hussein Ayoubcorrespondent for a Russian media outlet, and in the next, his sister, who died as a result of the attack, his niece and three minors aged 10, 12 and 14 years.
The deceased were identified as Samira Abdel Hussein Ayoub, Samira Ayoub’s sister and her grandchildren: Remas Mahmoud Hejazi (14 years old), Talin Mahmoud Hejazi (12 years old) and Layan Mahmoud Hejazi (10 years old). Samir Ayub was also injured.
The wounded and dead were taken to Sala Ghandour Hospital in Bint Yebeil. (Europe Press).
