The Israeli army said Hamas was “cynically” using civilians to hide its operations.

An army parachute team recorded the opening of an underground terrorist tunnel, according to a video released on Tuesday.

According to the Israeli government, a weapons cache containing chemical materials, Claymore mines, rocket launchers and other weapons was also discovered near the university.

Since then, Israel bombed the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip, killing more than 10,000 people, including 4,237 children, according to health authorities.

Gaza’s interior ministry says 900,000 Palestinians remain refugees in northern Gaza, including Gaza City.

Although the Israeli military operation is focused on the northern half of the Gaza Strip, the southern part of the Gaza Strip has also been attacked.

Palestinian health authorities said at least 23 people were killed in two separate airstrikes early Tuesday in the southern Gaza towns of Khan Younis and Rafah.
