Microsoft brought a major update to Windows 11

Microsoft today held an event dedicated to the development of the Windows operating system. It introduced a number of innovations that will appear in Windows 11 soon. One of the main innovations was the appearance of a long-awaited interface with tabs in “Explorer”. There are also new contextual clues when searching for files based on Context IQ.

Focus has been improved. It has a new “Do not disturb” option and a new built-in timer that speaks for itself.

Windows 11 will also include system-wide Live Captions. No matter where the sound comes from, Windows 11 will be able to automatically create subtitles for a program, website or whatever.

Additionally, Windows 11 returns folders familiar to Windows 10 to the Start menu. Users can drag and drop program icons onto each other to create folders.

The Snap Layouts multitasking feature that came with the release of Windows 11 makes it easy to configure windows and optimize screen space. Snap Layouts now supports touch input, making it easy to manage windows on Windows tablets.

Another innovation is targeted messages, which are more relevant for corporate users. This feature allows IT departments to send messages to users on different “surfaces” – they can be viewed on the desktop, lock screen or taskbar.

But Microsoft is keeping quiet when we can expect these innovations to be released in stable versions of Windows 11. 22H2 version. However, now Microsoft can release intermediate updates and it is possible to get all these innovations without waiting for the autumn. Source
