Hamas said this Sunday that it attempt to extend temporary ceasefire with Israelwhich began on Friday and will last four days and could be extended if the Islamist group agrees to release more Israeli hostages kidnapped in the Gaza Strip.
“Hamas is trying to extend the truce beyond the four-day period. are seriously trying to increase the number of released detaineesas established by the humanitarian truce agreement,” the Islamist group said on Telegram.
Hamas’ statement came after the third day of ceasefire will be fulfilled and the exchange of Israeli hostages for Palestinians held in Israeli prisons.
