Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra is new wireless game controller from a peripheral specialist. A high-level controller that the company focuses primarily on use with Xbox consoles, but can also be used on PCs, Android mobile devices and smart TVs.

The Stealth Ultra rises to the top of the Turtle Beach range of controllers, and according to the company’s CEO, it’s the best in its segment: “The Stealth Ultra’s premium components, build quality and features elevate it above any other controller on the market today, firmly establishing it as a must-have controller for gamers who want the best”.

Turtle Beach says its controller is designed to last, with premium materials, soft finishes and a comfortable ergonomic shape with micro-cooling channels, as well as tactile microswitches with a life cycle of five million clicks on D-Pad, ABXY group, assignable buttons and bumpers.

Two additional sets of arched joystick covers are included for further customization. Let’s say the trigger stops are adjustable for short triggers in action or FPS games, to full range for fine-tuning throttle and braking in racing games. There are four assignable quick action buttons that allow players to set precise control preferences depending on the title they are playing.

Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra includes a color display, the first of its kind to allow players to customize RGB lighting, game and chat audio settings, joystick sensitivity, assignable buttons, and other parameters related to on-the-fly adjustments that can be made or selected from up to 10 built-in profiles for different game genres. In addition, Turtle Beach’s patented technology allows players to receive social notifications from their phone on the control panel of the connected command screen on the controller.

The controller offers adjustable power modes with the ability to provide up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge, with power supplied via the included low-profile charging base, which also doubles as a place to store the controller when not in use. It includes a 3.5 mm jack for connecting headphones and has exclusive audio functions from the company.

The controller features patented low-latency wireless connectivity for use on Xbox consoles and Windows PCs, while Bluetooth support allows it to be used for gaming on compatible smart TVs and Android mobile devices. The Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra is available for pre-order now on their website and at select retailers. 199 euros. It will be available from December 15th and it looks great… and at a pretty high price.
