The agreement validates SAS’s industry solutions and begins the addition of SAS Customer Intelligence 360 to the AWS Marketplace.

SAS has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS), bringing SAS Customer Intelligence 360 to the AWS Marketplace. The addition of the AWS Marketplace is an initial customer benefit of this agreement with a broad range of initiatives focused on key industries such as financial services, public sector, retail and life sciences.

“The availability of SAS on AWS Marketplace is an important milestone for our partnership with AWS. “We make it easier for customers to decide where and how they want to use SAS to improve their business results,” said Gavin Day, executive vice president at SAS. “Together, we help customers build a comprehensive, personalized set of analytics tools to develop and deliver software to best meet their unique business needs.”

SAS Customer Intelligence 360’s dynamic customer engagement suite supports users at every part of the customer journey and delivers analytics-driven insights and reports. The aim of this collaboration is to ensure simplicity, flexibility and scalability. Together, SAS and AWS will:

  • Market and sell cloud-native analytics and industry solutions that help customers get started now on future expansion and acceleration opportunities.
  • Develop and integrate solutions that optimize cloud performance and deliver tangible business results.
  • Simplify purchases and increase flexibility with AWS Marketplace.

The new agreement demonstrates SAS’s confidence in AWS. By 2024, SAS plans to make Customer Intelligence 360 available on Amazon Bedrock, a service that provides access via an API to base models for developing and scaling generative AI applications. The two companies will also work together to make SAS Viya, SAS’ cloud-based AI and analytics platform, available on the AWS Marketplace in the future.
