According to the Evolute press service, the name emphasizes the spaciousness of the interior, the ease of transformation and the impressive power reserve – which is suitable for traveling with the whole family or a large group over long distances.
A hybrid power plant consisting of a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine and a traction battery with a capacity of 17.5 kWh with a total power of 178 hp should help realize these plans. Of. and a torque of 300 Nm. The drive takes place on the front axle. Acceleration to 100 km/h is promised in 7.4 seconds and the range with a charged battery and a full tank is 1,150 km according to the WLTC cycle. The average fuel consumption is therefore 5.5 liters per 100 km and the electric range is 87 km.
The interior of the i-Space is designed according to the concept of ‘premium minimalism’. The crossover has a full third row of seats with 50/50 folding capability, and the second row is two-way adjustable with a 40/60 split – with the seat backs down the trunk expands to 2125 liters .
Production of the model will take place at the Motorinvest plant in the Lipetsk region.
