NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Super Release Dates

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Super will be presented on January 8 at CES 2024, according to a recent leak that also left us with a possible release date for each of the three graphics cards that will arrive as part of this new series from the green giant. First of all, let me remind you that they will all use the architecture of Ada Lovelace and that they will be a refresh of the current series and not a renewal.

This new information says that the GeForce RTX 4070 Super will arrive first and that it will be available from January 17th. This graphics card will be recommended for gaming at 1080p and 1440p, although it will also be able to move games smoothly at 2160p as it will offer the performance slightly lower than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti.

Coming in second is the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super, a very interesting graphics card as it will represent a remarkable development compared to the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, both in terms of the number of shaders and the memory subsystem. It will be much more powerful and could be relatively close to the GeForce RTX 4080 (would yield 6% to 12% less). It will be available from January 24th.

GeForce RTX 40 Super

In third place we have the GeForce RTX 4080 Super, which will mean slight improvement compared to the GeForce RTX 4080, and this will preserve the memory configuration. The only important difference compared to this will be the number of shaders, and it will be smaller. Therefore, it will continue to be far behind the GeForce RTX 4090, which will remain NVIDIA’s most powerful graphics solution. Its launch will take place on January 31st.

The GeForce RTX 40 Super will be priced similarly to the models that follow, although it’s important to note that lThe GeForce RTX 4070 Super will not replace the GeForce RTX 4070 directly, but will coexist with it, at least for a time. It makes sense as both will have significant differences in their specifications and performance levels.
