Samsung Electronics has announced the expansion of its Samsung Self-Repair program, receiving flagship smartphone models for the first time, including the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5.

Samsung first launched the Samsung Self-Repair program in August 2022. The program started in the United States and then spread to South Korea, Brazil, Mexico and some European countries. Samsung is currently rolling out the program in 30 more European countries, including Denmark, Greece, Hungary and Portugal.

By the end of December, Samsung will add more Galaxy devices to the program, such as Galaxy Tab S9 tablets, Galaxy Book 2 laptops and Galaxy S23 flagships.

As part of the program, users will be able to take device repair into their own hands by receiving parts to replace the screen, back glass, charging port, speaker, SIM tray, hardware keys and more. Samsung also offers step-by-step repair guides.
