The Polish government transferred more than 5,000 Starlinks to Ukraine to ensure communications in front-line areas and for critical infrastructure businesses.
This was reported on Telegram by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Ukrinform reports.
“Communications for front-line areas and critical infrastructure. We received 5,000 Starlinks from the Polish government,” the message reads.
It is emphasized that the transferred terminals will help restore communication in the occupied regions and ensure the functioning of schools, medical facilities and the energy sector.
Approximately 47,000 Starlinks are currently operating in Ukraine, which have been transferred to our country through partners. More than 19,500 of them were received from Poland, some of them were transferred for the issuance of “Invincibility Points”.
Reportedly, the border villages of the Koryukov community of the Chernihiv region, suffering from weak television signal and lack of internet, have not yet received the Starlink terminals promised by the government.
