If you performed well in 2023, the Kings may have left an iPhone lying around your house. One of the main advantages of iOS is that you almost never need to touch the phone for it to work; But there are always some hidden settings that are unknown and can help you have a better experience.
I will tell you which are the three settings that I always change when I start an iPhone. These are very simple configurations and adjustments that will allow you to save space and save battery in a few seconds.
iPhones have bloatware too. iPhones don’t stand out as the phones with the most basic storage, as their versions continue to start at 128GB. Although they’re far from the apps included by other Android manufacturers, iPhones also have some annoying and unnecessary software.
Since iOS 16, it is possible to uninstall some of the pre-installed apps on iPhones; This is an important setting to have additional space on your new phone. This is the complete list of apps you can delete.

Turn off background syncing. Unlike some Android apps, on iOS you won’t stop receiving notifications if you disable background syncing. This is one of the main sources of energy savings in Apple’s operating system, and you will be surprised to see that after disabling this setting, everything works as before.
Just go to settings, general, background update and select the applications that you do not want to update in the background. In my case, I directly disabled the option so that no one could do this, neither the installed ones nor the subsequent apps I installed.
Disable Dolby Vision on camera. In your camera settings, you’ll find an “HDR Video” mode in the “record video” section. The name can be confusing because when you disable it, you won’t be disabling the iPhone’s HDR mode, but rather disabling recording in the 10-bit Dolby Vision format.
It’s a useful format for achieving dynamic range and displaying content on compatible televisions, but some video editors still don’t get along with it. To avoid incompatibilities, I make sure to disable the phone as soon as I receive it.
