This name is not new, as the chip brand was registered in April 2021, but it seems to have fallen fallow due to all the restrictions. However, ‘leaker’ SmartPikachu revealed the first information about this new processor on Weibo.

New vetoes prevent ASML, the dominant company in machines for producing semiconductors, from selling these advanced machines to Chinese companies, and these companies are forced to make do with ‘old’ tools.

Of course, China’s plan is to use and push these machines to go even further than their original purpose, creating 3-nanometer chips and even smaller and more complex photolithography. This is a very complex process and, above all, it seems very inefficient.This would mean misusing each wafer of silicon to create the chip.
