OpenAI has launched an online store where users can share customized versions of its popular ChatGPT chatbot.
This was reported by Bloomberg, according to a report from Ukrinform.
The new GPT Store became available to paid ChatGPT users on Wednesday and will include chatbots created by users who choose to share them publicly.
Users, including corporate customers and ChatGPT Plus subscribers, have the right to create their own GPT.
The GPT Store will allow users to see the most popular and trending chatbots in a leaderboard and search them by category. People have built 3 million of their own chatbots to date, the company said in a blog post, but it’s unclear how many of them were available in the store at launch.
In the future, it is planned that people will be able to make money from their chatbots, just like Apple Inc.’s app stores. or Google Alphabet Inc. OpenAI said that within the next three months the company will share details on how people can make money from them.
People in the US will be paid “based on user interaction” with the chatbots, the company said in a blog post.
OpenAI also announced a new paid ChatGPT tier for companies with small teams, starting at $25 per user per month. OpenAI first released an enterprise version of ChatGPT with additional features and privacy protection last August.
As reported by Ukrinform, OpenAI has created a service that allows you to configure individual versions of the ChatGPT online chatbot and share them on the Internet.
