SpaceX said in a report by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that Starlink’s satellite Internet service already has more than 400,000 subscribers worldwide (both individuals and businesses). Interestingly, just two months ago there were 250,000, and at the beginning of the year – 145,000. As you can see, Starlink is quickly gaining a subscriber base.

In a presentation to the FCC on May 19, SpaceX said Starlink is available in 48 states and 36 countries. At the same time, the company is exploring the possibility of expanding its business areas in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. And very few countries where SpaceX has not launched the service (at least not yet). These are Afghanistan, Belarus, Cuba, China, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria and Venezuela.

SpaceX has launched 2,405 satellites into orbit so far, of which 2,374 are operational. Earlier, Elon Musk said that the current Earth will be covered by Starlink until the end. Source
