Stefan Winkelmann, president and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini SpA, said the Italian luxury sports car maker sold more than 10,000 vehicles for the first time last year.

“I am incredibly proud to announce that we have reached another historic milestone,” Winkelmann said.
Thanks to the sales success of the Urus SUV, which now costs more than €230,000 ($250,000), Lamborghini has expanded production in recent years, banking on strong demand from wealthy car enthusiasts.
The automaker and its subsidiary of German Volkswagen delivered a total of 10,112 Lamborghini sports cars and SUVs last year, up from more than 9,200 vehicles in 2022.
It was stated that the biggest growth in Lamborghini deliveries last year was in the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions, where there was a 14 percent increase to almost 4,000 vehicles.
Sales in the Americas region increased by 9% to 3,465, and sales in the Asia-Pacific region increased by 4% to 2,660.
Rival Ferrari, which will announce its 2023 figures, including car sales figures, later this year, delivered more than 13,200 cars in 2022.
