Organizers of the World Economic Forum will open a government technology center in Kiev, which will be the second after a similar one in Berlin.
Deputy Prime Minister for Innovations, Development of Education, Science and Technologies – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reported.
It is emphasized that the relevant agreement was signed with forum president Bjorge Brende and general manager Jeremy Jurgens.
According to Fedorov, the GovTech center will deal with the digital transformation of the government, e-government and the development of digital skills.
In addition, thanks to the center, Ukrainian start-ups and innovators will be able to exchange experience with foreign partners and accelerate digital reforms in Ukraine.
The first center of this kind will soon open in Berlin.
Reportedly, Ukraine and the UK have started working on the joint TechBridge project for the development of the technological sectors of both countries.
