Samsung has expanded its self-service repair program to include TVs, soundbars, monitors and projectors. The lineup now includes Samsung 2023 TVs, as well as remote controls, monitors launched last year, the second-generation Freestyle projector, and some soundbars. Spare parts for these can be purchased directly from the company and its partners.

In December, Samsung added the foldable Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 smartphones to its self-repair program. In the first half of 2023, the company added Galaxy S22 smartphones and Galaxy Book laptops to its other Galaxy series products.

Samsung has also expanded the range of spare parts for self-repair of devices already included in the program. The list now includes speakers, SIM trays, side and volume keys, display assemblies, rear glass, and charging ports for phones and tablets. Galaxy Book owners will now be able to repair speakers and fans themselves.

In most cases, users will only need simple tools like a Phillips screwdriver to repair TVs and monitors, the company said. Users will be able to change themselves details about display, power, Wi-Fi connection and audio for different types of screens. Access to repair manuals and parts for some of the company’s 2023 soundbars will also be available.

Currently, Samsung partner Encompass Supply Chain Solutions offers parts for the 2023 displays, soundbars, and TVs, as well as the Freestyle Gen 2 projector. The list includes three The Frame TV models, four M series smart monitors, two curved monitors and the ViewFinit S9. . Galaxy devices are listed, including smartphones starting with the S20 (including the S23 FE), Galaxy Tabs S7 Plus and S9, and Galaxy Book and Book 2 (15-inch standard models, 13- and 15-inch 360° versions). Samsung also has a multi-year partnership agreement with iFixit.

In total, the list of supported devices includes more than 50 units, including renewals of 14 titles.
