On Monday, January 29, SpaceX launched two sets of Starlink Internet satellites several hours apart from different spaceports in the United States.
This was reported by Space.com, according to Ukrinform’s report.
It was noted that the Falcon 9 launch vehicle, containing 23 Starlink internet satellites, took off from the spaceport in Florida at 01.15 in the morning Kiev time.
At 7.57am Kiev time, another Falcon 9 launch vehicle carrying 22 Starlink internet satellites launched from the spaceport in California.
As expected, both Falcon 9 first stages returned to Earth approximately 8.5 minutes after liftoff and landed on the SpaceX unmanned vehicle.
The satellites were placed into low Earth orbit about an hour after launch.
Thus, since the beginning of the year, SpaceX has already completed nine launches. Previously, the company announced that it planned to carry out a total of 144 orbital missions in 2024.
