A drone that will work on military ships will be created in Korea

South Korea plans to develop unmanned aerial vehicles designed to operate on military ships by 2028.

According to the news of the Korean Defense Procurement Agency, Hanwha Systems company, with which a contract worth 143 billion 300 million won (107 million 223 thousand dollars) was signed in December last year, will take part in the development. The drone will be equipped with radar systems, electro-optical and infrared sensors. It will be deployed on ships in the Northwest Islands region near the North Korean border, where surveillance and reconnaissance missions will be carried out.

As reported by Ukrinform, the administration of the defense procurement program under the Ministry of Defense of South Korea has opened a special research center for the development of reusable space drones.

They announced that a new underwater attack aircraft capable of carrying nuclear weapons was tested in North Korea.
