Microsoft is bringing its Copilot Pro service to mobile apps on Android and iOS.
Microsoft brings Copilot Pro for Android and iOS. The service is now available in the mobile apps. Copilot Pro guarantees customers access to GPT-4 and GPT-4 Turbo, even when both models are at capacity. Additionally, you get faster access to built-in AI image generation. Anyone who registers for Copilot Pro can now use the generative AI tool not only via the web and Windows, but also via mobile applications.
The difference between a subscription to Copilot Pro and one to ChatGPT is not that big. Both solutions work with the same underlying OpenAI LLMs and offer similar benefits. The biggest difference with Copilot Pro is the integration with Microsoft 365 applications. If you want to use generative AI in Word or Excel, for example, the Microsoft version offers added value. Please note: In addition to a Copilot subscription, you also need a Microsoft 365 subscription.
The free version of Copilot is also available through Microsoft mobile applications. These also offer access to GPT-4 and GPT-4 Turbo, but only if there is sufficient capacity. You can also generate limited AI images with this version.
