OnePlus recently collaborated with the App Defense Alliance (ADA), becoming the first company of its kind to join this important security group. This move is part of OnePlus’ commitment to keep users’ data private and make their devices more secure.
Created in November 2019 by Google, ESET, Lookout and Zimperium, the App Defense Alliance focuses on securing the Google Play Store. Scans apps for malware before they are published to the store. This initiative combines the expertise and technology of these companies to better find and prevent malware from reaching users’ devices.
OnePlus has always prioritized security in its products. Its latest phones, OnePlus 12, running on OxygenOS 14, include various premium security features such as Device Security Engine 3.0, improved Security Center, Strong Box for chip-level data protection, Auto Pixelate 2.0, and photo permission management. It is designed to provide complete protection to users. Additionally, OnePlus Intelligent Shield detected and blocked dangerous apps.
