There is a new experiment in Search Labs, the experimental part of the Google application: Talk to a live representative or simply “let a human ride.” This is actually a service that Google Assistant hopes to take care of Handle the answering machine and listen to music on hold Until the operator answers the call.
The concept is very similar to Hold for me, which Google Pixel launched four years ago, but no longer exclusive to Google Pixel. What remains exclusive, at least during this trial period, is for users in the United States.
Music is no longer on hold
Call customer service can be frustrating For a variety of reasons, including having to deal with boring menus that might not suit our query, music on hold which is always awful, and most of all the long wait. Google has a solution for almost all of the above.
It’s called Talk to a live agent, which we can translate as talking to an agent or operator. Must Activate as a trial in Search Labs (test tube icon in the Google app), but for now it’s only available in the United States and a few businesses.

Once activated we will see the option to use the Wizard to call customer service directly from Google results. By doing this we will need to inform Google what the reason for the call is so that the call can be directed to the appropriate department.
Google is the one responsible for making the call and waiting for a representative to appear. When you do this, you will receive a call At a phone number that Google has already given you so that you can finally talk to a person.
Experimentation is still very limited and Only works on a few customer service lines in the United StatesAlthough it works well, they can be expected to be expanded in the future. Currently only compatible with:
Airlines: Alaska Airlines, Delta Airlines, JetBlue, Southwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines and United.
Telecommunication: Assurance Wireless, Boost Mobile, Charter Communications, Cricket Wireless, Samsung and Sprint.
Malls: Best Buy, Costco, Gamestop, The Home Depot and Walmart.
