On May 24, Google was fined 4 million rubles based on the decision of the Tagansky court in Moscow. According to the decision of the same court dated May 17, three lawsuits were filed against Meta for a total of 13 million rubles.
Last week, it became known that the bailiffs had fully charged Google with fines and more than 7.7 billion rubles for refusing to remove content banned in Russia.
In April, enforcement proceedings were initiated against Meta for the same “crime” for a revolving fine of more than 1.9 billion rubles.
This news came against the background of a large-scale war waged by Russia in Ukraine.
