“BayraktarTB3 passed its 18th flight test. “Testing the performance of the system at high altitude,” wrote Selçuk Bayraktar.
He also published a video about the target impression of the new ASELFLIR-500 missile developed by Turkey from the Akıncı UAV.
Selçuk Bayraktar said, “Moving sea targets were hit with full precision with ASELFLIR-500, the world’s best electro-optical system in its class.”
Bayraktar TB3 UAV will be the world’s first combat unmanned aerial vehicle with a foldable wing design, capable of taking off and landing from short-runway ships such as TCG Anadolu.
The trials of Bayraktar TB3 on the TCG Anadolu ship are planned to start in 2024.
According to Ukrinform, the first flight of Bayraktar TB3 was made last autumn.
