Tesla Energy, a division of the Tesla company, announced the installation of 600,000 Powerwall lithium-ion batteries worldwide.

“600,000 Powerwalls are installed worldwide,” Tesla Energy said.
Teslarati notes that the company lowered the price of Powerwall 2 batteries in the US last year and published the Powerwall 3’s specifications on its website, which may indicate that the batteries are official.
Tesla is the dominant force in the US storage battery market, claiming about 30.2% of the market share in the country last year.
Among other things, the company is currently running virtual power plant (VPP) pilot programs in several US states, including California, Texas, Massachusetts, and others, and recently launched the program in Puerto Rico and other locations outside the US.
Powerwall is a lithium-ion battery designed to store electricity for home consumption and sudden load changes.
