The TCL 50 is a new range of mobile phones that the Chinese multinational consumer electronics company just unveiled at MWC 2024. basic and economy series as an entry into the Android platform, which consists of three different models: the 50 5G, the 50 SE and the 505.

The series shares a new design style that exhibits a square and flat aesthetic. They feature large multi-touch screens enhanced with proprietary NXTVISION technology that promises “immersive visual experiences” thanks to the refresh rate 90 Hz.

All three models support connection to fifth generation networks, include surround sound technology DTS from Digital Theater Systems and stereo speakers. For the performance part, the manufacturer has implemented technology TCL NXTURBOoptimizes synchronization between software and hardware on both GPU and CPU. TCL says this means a 30% increase in image rendering performance while reducing power consumption by up to 17%.

TCL 50 5G. The mid-range model has the MediaTek Dimensity MT6835 chipset and has a 6.6-inch screen. It has 5G connectivity and a configuration of up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage capacity. It has a 50MP AI HYBRID camera and a long-lasting 5010mAh battery.

TCL 50 SE. The most advanced of this product line has a 6.78″ FHD+ screen and has DTS 3D surround sound. It can contain up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage expandable with microSD cards. Its 5010mAh battery has 33W fast charging. It is certified by Google as a recommended device for Android Enterprise.

TCL 505. The cheapest of the series has a 6.75″ HD+ screen and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It features dual surround stereo speakers, NXTVISION technology, a 5010mAh battery, up to 128GB of storage, and a main camera with a dual 50MP sensor.
