Toyota has warned vehicle owners about a safety issue that could cause their vehicles to continue moving forward even when idle and the brakes are not applied.
According to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, dealers will update the electronic transmission control unit (ECU) software in vehicles involved in the accident free of charge.
The recall affects vehicles manufactured between 2022 and 2024. These include some Tundra cars, Tundra and Lexus LX600 hybrids, as well as Sequoia SUVs.
