Newsletter writers and readers on Substack’s online platform will now be able to send direct messages to each other.

As reported by Ukrinform, Engadget reported this.

The company said this was a “highly requested feature” and improved communication on the online platform.

It is stated that users can find the new feature in the “Chat” tab both in the application and on the website.

When you receive a message from another user, Substack will notify you through the app and via email.

By default, direct messages from people you’re chatting with go to your Inbox, and messages from others go to your Requests folder.

If you block or ban someone, that person won’t be able to send you direct messages.

Substack is a US-based online platform that provides publishing, payment, analytics and design infrastructure to support newsletter subscriptions. It allows authors to send digital newsletters directly to subscribers.

As reported, since December 19, Ukrinform materials can be read directly on the online Substack platform, including mobile applications.
