What’s up
First, desktop Chrome users get new search suggestions based on what other users are searching for. The browser will still remember your most recent queries and autofill relevant search suggestions, but you’ll also see user-created options to the right of the regular autocomplete suggestions under the People Searching tab.

Second, Chrome users on iOS and Android will now see more images accompanying suggested searches. Previously, Chrome only showed images in the address bar that exactly matched the product you were searching for. But if you don’t have anything specific in mind and just need a variety of examples, Chrome will now “show useful images for broader purchase categories and products based on easier searches.”

Finally, the most interesting of all is the ability to receive search suggestions even with a bad connection. Chrome for iOS and Android is getting an optimization tool that lets you search even if your internet isn’t working. Google didn’t explain how it worked, only saying it was due to “improved features on the device.” The company claims that the search will continue to work even with a “bad” connection, so some networking will likely be required.
Individual users can already try these updates on their devices.
