“Since the start of Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, the Jordanian armed forces have carried out 28 shipments by airBye 15 conducted in collaboration with fraternal and friendly countries,” the organization emphasized in a statement published on its website.

Last week, King Abdullah II of Jordan advocated “double” volume humanitarian aid delivered to the sector during the offensive, and warned about “catastrophic humanitarian situation” in the enclave.

For its part, US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed its participation in these deliveries and noted that its forces and the Jordanian Air Force “conducted a joint airlift of humanitarian aid in northern Gaza at 14:30 (local time) to deliver“necessary assistance to civilians affected by the current conflict”.
