Fifteen of the nation’s 50 states voted in primaries that set Biden and Trump as the Democratic and Republican candidates in November’s presidential election.
Billionaire Donald Trump has confirmed that the results from the Republican primaries held in 15 states “are final” and symbolize that the Republican candidate must be elected.
“They call it Super Tuesday for a reason, and it was big. There has never been such a convincing result before.
“It was an incredible day and night,” he said at a public event held in Palm Beach, Florida, at his famous Mar-a-Lago mansion.
Of the 15 states holding primaries on Super Tuesday, Trump has so far won in Texas, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Colorado, Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Maine, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Arkansas.
Vermont is the only state in which former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, her only opponent, is in contention to win, while results in California, Utah and Alaska are still unknown.
In his congratulatory speech – shorter than usual – Trump was, as always, Trump, and he began it by talking about one of his favorite topics – immigration.
