Salesforce introduces Einstein 1 Studio: AI to all your apps

Salesforce launches Einstein 1 Studio, a tool that connects to Einstein 1 and the broader Salesforce ecosystem and enables developers to quickly integrate AI into their own Salesforce applications.

At its TrailbalzerDX developer conference, Salesforce announces the availability of Einstein 1 Studio. This is a collection of low-code tools that developers can use to customize Einstein Copilot. This copilot is Salesforce’s conversational AI; ChatGPT for your CRM in short. Studio allows you to optimize this AI, but also integrate AI capabilities into Salesforce applications for internal and external use. The arrival of Copilot Studio was announced earlier this month.

Einstein 1 Studio contains three main components:

  • Copilot Builder allows you to set up AI actions tailored to specific tasks where Copilot can access external systems;
  • Prompt Builder allows you to set up your own reusable prompts that fit into work processes, launching complex interactions at the touch of a button;
  • model maker is more complex and allows you to import different AI models so that AI experiences meet your business needs.

Salesforce emphasizes that the studio is based on low-code and no-code principles. In other words, you don’t have to be a developer to use the functionality of the new solution.

The Model Builder fits Salesforce’s vision that its AI car doesn’t want to be tied to a locomotive. Salesforce relies on an agnostic approach in which alternative LLMs can be used alongside Einstein. The company points to several partners, including Anthropic, Cohere and of course OpenAI.

Led by Einstein

Salesforce has been expanding its AI capabilities for some time now with a network of products and services that is not always clear. Einstein is the collective name for all of Salesforce’s AI ambitions. Einstein GPT is the CRM specialist’s generative AI model, with Einstein Copilot as an accessible implementation for customers.

Einstein 1 is the supporting data platform. You can see it as a bridge between Einstein on the one hand and the data cloud on the other. The Data Cloud, in turn, is a system that centrally brings together data from all (modern) Salesforce solutions into one only source of truth, where external data also has its place. This technology is best viewed as a kind of alternative to the Snowflake Data Cloud, based on Salesforce. Behind this is the Salesforce portfolio itself.

The Einstein Studio now ensures that you can easily enter this technology stack to integrate tailored generative AI into business processes and applications.
