A laboratory for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles for the mountain assault brigade “Edelweiss” was opened in Prykarpattia. Became part of the “One Hundred for Ten” initiative.
This was announced on Facebook by the Edelweiss Mountain Assault Brigade Support Fund, Ukrinform reported.
“In constant communication with the brigade’s engineers and pilots, we managed to create a “bird” specifically suited to Edelweiss’ needs. The message states that they have established a laboratory for drone production, which has consequently become part of the “Hundred for Ten” initiative.”
It is stated that the laboratory has already delivered more than fifty FPV drones of its own production to the 10th OGSHB “Edelweiss”.
For the military today, the problem with drones is quality, not quantity. The laboratory’s constant communication with the Edelweiss team allows manufacturers to instantly improve drone quality.
Currently, the Brigade Support Fund does not refuse to purchase drones from proven manufacturers, but also increases its own production of “birds”.
As reported by Ukrinform, Ukrainian drone manufacturers plan to reach 2 million units by the end of the year.
