Qualcomm planned a special event for March 18 where it will introduce its new mobile processors. The American manufacturer hints at the launch of new flagship products in its advertising materials. It will probably be the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 single-chip platform, and Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 is also expected.

According to rumors, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is a scaled-down version of the current flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The new chip, codenamed SM8635, is built on TSMC’s 4 nm process. The main processor core operates at a frequency of 2.9 GHz. Also, the new chip received the Adreno 735 graphics core with a frequency of 900 MHz. In the normal version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the main core operates at a frequency of up to 3.3 GHz, and the Adreno 750 graphics core operates at a frequency of 770 MHz.

Much less is known about the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. The chip is labeled SM7650. It is known that OnePlus Ace 3V will be the first smartphone based on this processor. The announcement of the brand new flagship processor Snapdarong 8 Gen 4 on Orion cores is not expected to be made before October this year.
